The multifunctional shoe ensures perfect foot guidance through the extended LOWA-MONOWRAP® frame, providing the ideal foundation for light hiking or speed-hiking tours. The upper made of high-quality synthetic and textile material protects the foot excellently against wind and moisture thanks to the integrated GORE-TEX membrane.

The midsole is largely responsible for the rolling behavior and cushioning of a shoe. In the Gorgon, this is made from a specially developed plastic: LOWA DynaPU. Even after being compressed a thousand times, it retains its resilience. Thus, shoes made from this material maintain excellent cushioning properties even after many kilometers.

In the GORGON GTX model, the midsole in the form of the LOWA-MONOWRAP® frame ensures the best comfort. This is a three-dimensional design of the midsole that LOWA developed in 1995. This frame comfortably encloses the foot and supports it on uneven terrain. In shoes with a STABILITY FRAME, the sole construction is extended upwards.
